How does AirPlayRadio work?
+
You upload your track and cover art. Our AI analyzes the genre, BPM, mood and energy, then automatically pitches it to every matching Spotify playlist, radio station and TV channel in our network. Curators receive your pitch by email and respond — you get notified for every acceptance. Zero manual work on your end.
How long before I see my first acceptance?
+
Most artists see their first submission emails within 1 hour of uploading. First acceptances typically happen within 24–72 hours. Radio airplay detection via our broadcast monitoring takes a bit longer — usually 1–7 days after a station accepts your track.
What's the difference between Monthly and Annual?
+
Both plans include unlimited pitching, AI matching, broadcast monitoring, AI Manager, and your public artist page. The Annual plan ($499.90/year) saves 17% and also includes AI video shorts — a vertical video generated automatically for every new release, ready for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
Can I cancel anytime?
+
Yes, absolutely. Cancel anytime from your Billing page with no penalties or cancellation fees. Your subscription stays active until the end of the paid period.
Do I keep the rights to my music?
+
100%. AirPlayRadio never claims ownership of your music. We're a promotion tool — your rights stay entirely with you.
What genres work best on the platform?
+
Electronic, Pop, Hip-Hop and R&B currently have the highest acceptance rates on the platform. But we have playlists and stations for virtually every genre — Jazz, Classical, Rock, Country, Reggae, Ambient, and more.
How is this different from SubmitHub?
+
AirPlayRadio is fully automated — no manual pitching, no credits to spend per submission. Our AI handles all submissions and we cover radio and TV channels in addition to Spotify playlists. You also get an AI Manager for career strategy and an AI-written blog on your artist page.
What file formats do you accept?
+
Audio: MP3 or WAV (up to 200MB). Cover art: JPEG or PNG, must be square (same width and height), minimum 1000×1000px recommended. The cover will be converted to optimized JPEG automatically.
Can a label use AirPlayRadio for multiple artists?
+
Yes — one subscription covers all artist profiles. You can create multiple artist profiles under one account and pitch tracks from any of them.
What is the AI Manager?
+
The AI Manager is your personal music career strategist inside the dashboard. It analyzes your data (submissions, acceptances, social stats, plays) and gives you a daily briefing with 4-6 specific action recommendations. You can also chat with it about career questions, platform questions, or anything music-related.
What is the AI Blog feature?
+
Claude AI automatically writes and publishes articles on your public artist page — release announcements, radio placement news, genre trend pieces, and industry insights. You never write anything. Articles appear at airplayradio.com/artist/[your-slug].
How does broadcast monitoring work?
+
We use ACRCloud to detect when your tracks play on radio stations. This is ISRC-based — the system recognizes your track fingerprint when a station plays it and logs the play. You'll see play counts in your submissions dashboard.
Do you guarantee placements?
+
No — and anyone who does is lying to you. Placement decisions belong to the curators and programmers. What we guarantee is that every pitch is relevant and reaches the right people, thanks to our AI matching. Quality targeting dramatically improves your acceptance rate.
