Description

My Mom used to listen to her albums when I was a kid and this song was on Repeat !!! I decided to cover this song at one of my live events and I felt the energy lifting in the room .
And the more I grow as an artist the more I relate to her . She was Egyptian and her origins and accent didn't stop her from being an Icon. She sang in different languages and her presence was stunning . She was classy and translated stories in a way that women can identify with . I'm inspired by her courage to leave her country (Egypt) and start from scratch in France .
I've started from scratch and left everything behind for a better life. Her music is fantastic and I don't want her music to be forgotten. I wanted to make this version very simple , a simple guitar and the vocals are enough.
I really want to collaborate with a Male Artist to revisit the
original version with "Alain Delon" . If I had to pick someone for
the Gig I think "Common" will bring soul to it with a lot of character and respect for Dalida's legacy .
